Carolyn Pampino is a sculptor working in bronze, alabaster, and clay. Inspired by the quiet poetry of the natural world—wind-worn stones, curling petals, flowing water—her work seeks to reveal softness within strength. She draws inspiration from artists like Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, Jean Arp, and Georgia O’Keeffe, echoing their devotion to organic form and emotional resonance. Whether carving alabaster, shaping clay, or working with foundry artisans to produce a bronze, she coaxes hard materials into organic forms that invite touch and contemplation. With a BFA in sculpture from Carnegie-Mellon, her practice balances intuition with technique, honoring the voice of each material. Her sculptures evoke a sense of calm, resilience, and quiet connection to the earth. In her free time, she serves as a board member for LexArt, a non-profit community art space in Lexington, MA.
