About Kathy Morrissey

Originally trained as a graphic artist and illustrator, Kathy eventually turned to fine art and specifically oil painting. Both a plein air and a studio painter she has studied extensively at the museum level and has taken various workshops with master artists in the United States and Europe. Recently she has spent time painting and being influenced by great art in France, Italy and Mexico. Locally, Kathy can be seen behind her easel painting coastal scenes and people from Portsmouth NH to Monhegan Island, Maine.
